New Electrical Code of Practice

WorkSafe New Zealand today published a new Electrical Code of Practice for Managing Electrical Risks Associated with Electrically Conductive Thermal Insulation NZECP 55: 2016 – this Code includes requirements and guidance in domestic installations for electrical safety when working near electrically conductive thermal insulation (e.g. foil insulation) when installing a new electrical installation and when working in the presence of existing fitted conductive thermal insulation, including the removal of the insulation material.
