Electrical marks

[image] Regulatory Compliance Mark/Authentication Mark.

When used for electrical product, this mark is called the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM), and when used for installed prescribed electrical work, it is called the Authentication Mark.

 

Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM)

The RCM, is used to indicate compliance of electrical and electronic product with both electrical safety and EMC requirements. Its use is controlled by a standard, AS/NZS 4417.

Electrical Authentication Mark

The Electrical Authentication Mark must appear on both the Certificate of Compliance (CoC) and Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC) to show that these are legitimate documents. However, if the CoC and ESC are incorporated into one document, the Mark only needs to appear once.
