Standards and Codes of Practice

Detailed technical requirements for gas distribution, gas installations, gas quality, gas appliances, gas odorization and gas measurement are contained in New Zealand Standards, available from the Standards New Zealand website.

In addition to the Standards, the legislation provides for Codes of Practice for all aspects which it covers.
