The Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Regulations 1977 provide details relating to the licensing of gasfitters, and exemptions such as employer licences.

The suite of regulations published under the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) Act 1996 provide detailed controls under the HSNO Act. These include regulations related to delineation of hazardous areas and to the storage and location of hazardous substances, including LPG cylinders, and emergency management.
