Validity of approvals
Q: What is the status of the recognition of Approvals or Certification issued by a recognised certification or approval agency when the relevant Standards are amended?
A: Amendments to Standards used for the purposes of Approvals, or Product Certification, that take effect after the Approval or Certification is issued are not considered to be a "relevant condition" under Regulation 86 and therefore do affect the validity of recognition of that approval or certification where that approval or certification is recognised under Regulation 84.
