Short Description
Manufacturers, importers and agents are required to complete a Supplier Declaration of Conformity form before certain products can be sold or offered for sale in New Zealand.
Supplier Declaration of Conformity (SDOC)
This page contains file downloads for SDoC forms required by regulation 83 of the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010.
It also provides an example of the SDoC form previously required by regulation 101A of the Electricity Regulations 1997. This form can only be used to declare articles that were contractually committed to prior to April 2010.
If subsequently audited, documentary evidence of such a contractual arrangements may be required for the SDoC dated after April 2010 to be considered valid. Furthermore, all medium risk articles that are sold after 1st April 2012 will need to comply with current regulations
