Short Description
Provides information on the new DoC and CoC forms
Declarations of Conformity (DoCs)
Regulation 57 requires that a declaration of conformity (DoC) is produced before any installation work is started. This declaration is required to detail the design and responsible designer and has particular relevance for installations that use Part 1 of AS/NZS 3000.
Regulation 58 sets out the details for this declaration.
An example of a suitable declaration when part 2 is being applied has been produced and can be downloaded. (See above).
It is expected that these DoCs could be either integrated into the CoC process or business documentation such as quotes or estimates, in which case the layout can be adjusted accordingly.
Certificates of Compliance (CoCs)
Certificates of Compliance (CoCs) for use under the 2010 Regulations are now available for purchase from the EWRB. These contain all of the certification components of Regulation 67 and will be applicable for work begun after 1 April 2010.
Work begun prior to 1 April can be completed under the CoCs applicable under the 1997 Regulations.
