The principal Regulations relating to the General Safety requirements are Regulations 69 and 76 of the Electricity Regulations 1997.
Offence Provisions
The relevant offence provisions are contained in Regulation 100
Prohibited products
The Regulations also contain provisions for prohibiting the sale and use of selected products and contain restrictions on technical safety features of certain products.
