Prior to being offered for sale in New Zealand, Cord-Line Switches within the following definition must be
Covered by a Supplier Declaration of compliance.
Definition
An electrical device which—
(a) is for attachment in a flexible cord;
(b) manually opens and closes an electrical circuit; and
(c) has a rating not exceeding 16 A at low voltage; but does not include—(d) bell push and pendant switches.
