The Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010, call several Electrical Codes of Practice listed here. Note that ECP 54 is referenced from AS/NZS 3000: 2007. Older ECPs can be found in the archive.

NZECP 34:2001 - New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Safe Distances  [ Published 21 December 2001 ]
Approval of the New Zealand Electrical Code for Practice for Electrical Safe Distances 2001 (NZECP 34:2001) and the revocation of the New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Safety Distances 1993 (NZECP 34:1993)

NZECP 35:1993: New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Power System Earthing  [ Published 18 March 1993 ]
This code of practice is intended to provide guidance on acceptable methods for determining the safety of earthing systems associated with works.

NZECP 36:1993: New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Harmonic Levels  [ Published 18 March 1993 ]
The source material for this Code was derived from the Limitation of Harmonic Levels Notice 1981.

NZECP 50:2004: New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Repair and Maintenance of Domestic Electrical Appliances by the Owner of the Appliance  [ Published 27 July 2004 ]
The following extracts from the Electricity Act 1992 and Electricity Regulations 1997 are applicable to the maintenance of electrical appliances.
